Taking the time to assign categories and add keywords, notes, etc., makes it much easier to find and organize your files.Welcome to ACDSee’s newest course! We’ve released a set of videos on our YouTube channel that provide the perfect ‘how-to’ tutorial s for ACDSee Photo Studio Ultimate. You can also use the Properties pane to add information to the ACDSee Photo Studio database, like captions, keywords and much more. As the database, information is always associated with a particular file. When you assign a file to a rating or category, this information is stored in the ACDSee Photo Studio database. Or command-click a combination of dates, ratings, or categories to display the combined results.ĭates are not listed in the Calendar if there are no photos with a corresponding EXIF date. Each year and month can be expanded and collapsed.Ĭlick any date in the Calendar to see files associated with that date listed in the file list pane. Dates are listed by year, month, and day, with the most recent dates at the top. You can browse your collection of photos and media files using the dates associated with each file. Images with EXIF information are organized by date in the Calendar section of the Organize pane. Tagged: Displays all the tagged files on the computer.Uncategorized: Displays any files cataloged in the database that have not been assigned to a category.If you have a substantial image collection, it may take a few moments to gather all of the information. Image Well: Displays all images cataloged in the ACDSee Photo Studio database.You can use Special Items to quickly view all of the images in your database and any uncategorized files. ![]() Keyword quickly by dragging an image onto a keyword. Utilize this group to manage your keywords on the fly by using the context menu (right-click). Keywording is a highly efficient way to group files in hierarchies that make sense to you and find them quickly in an expanding tree. To de-select a category, rating, or label, use Command + click. A turquoise label indicates that the file is labeled outside of the currently selected label set. When a file has a label, the label color appears on the thumbnail in the File List pane. Create label sets and assign labels by dragging your files to a label in the Organize pane. Color LabelsĬlick a color label to see all of the files you have assigned to that label. When a file has a rating, the number appears on top of the thumbnail in the File List pane. You can assign a numerical rating from 1 to 5 by dragging your files to your chosen rating in the Organize pane.
